AGM

Proceedings were opened by Ray Chilten (regional manager)

Gareth Hall (outgoing Regional Captain) conducted the first part of the AGM before handing over Captaincy to Richard Brookman (incoming Captain)

Golf
A milestone event, this was the centenary hosting of the Presidents Cup, a quite amazing feat, it is intriguing to look back at all the past winners.

The weather was kind, a tad overcast and windy but dry, which we would all take every single time.

Result
1st Gareth Morgan (35pts)
2nd Reece Miller
3rd Jon Hill

With too much protestation over coffee from Mr Morgan of his form and lack of time on the course plus having been up early to polish the trophy to bring along, we all knew how the day was likely to go . . .
Several hours later after Reece Miller pushed Gareth Morgan right to the wire but finished just a point behind, it meant Gareth retained the President’s Cup on this 100th competition.
